Our client is a provider of a range of IT solutions and digital transformation services to the Public Sector, Energy Industry and wider UK business community. Having grown rapidly through both organic growth and through key acquisitions the business is seeking to appoint an experienced Public Sector Business Development Manager to continue to drive growth and market share within this key sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development professional with a successful track record in Public Sector sales who wants to work for a fast growing company and play a key part in its’ success.

Candidate Profile:

  • An experienced Business Development professional with a minimum of five years sales experience in a solution sales environment, selling to the Public Sector. You will also need to be highly organised, target-oriented and possess a strong drive for results.
  • A passionate and highly driven individual with the determination and strength of character required to drive growth, maintaining focus on objectives whilst overcoming short-term challenges.
  • An excellent communicator with the personal presence to command respect and an ability to relate to individuals at all levels within a client organisation.
  • Commercially astute with proven ability to identify, target and win new customers within a complex sales environment.
  • An ability to challenge the status-quo within target clients, overcoming challenges and obstacles and building a compelling case for change.
