They continue to go from strength to strength and with their own collection and processing facilities they can offer a full and comprehensive waste management and recycling service to potential customers.
Our client now seeks to appoint a Business Development Manager to enable the company to achieve its’ short and long term sales and growth objectives.
Business Development Manager – Key Responsibilities
- To identify target clients across a range of sectors.
- To make contact with and establish relationships with target clients as a means to identify and secure new opportunities.
- To develop and maintain a database of prospect clients.
- To win new work across the full range of services.
- To develop new business opportunities through effective networking.
- Raise brand awareness across target sectors.
Candidate Profile
- Previous sales experience in a business to business environment
- Waste & recycling experience would be an advantage but not necessary as full training and support will be provided
- A proven track record of winning new business
- Competence in developing and delivering proposals and presentations to diverse audiences
- Skilled negotiation techniques and commercial understanding of contractual considerations
- Well organised, self motivated and driven by success both personal and for the company
- Able to work on own initiative
- Good communicator with well developed skills in listening, building rapport, presenting and producing written communications.
